In the production process of carbon products, it is inevitable to produce a certain amount of waste products and processing debris. After proper treatment, they can be used as raw materials, collectively referred to as production return materials. There are four kinds of returned materials:

 

Raw crushing is a kind of unqualified raw product detected after paste forming, including paste residue falling during molding and cutting head during extrusion. In general, raw crushing is used in the same formula, but it can also be added to another formula after conversion of asphalt dosage and particle size composition. the raw chips that have been stained with dust can be used to produce electrode paste and other dusty products. In order to improve the conductivity and thermal conductivity of electrode paste and increase the sintering speed of electrode paste, a certain amount of graphite chips should be added to produce electrode paste for closed electric furnace. When used, graphite chips are generally broken to medium particles.
